Really impressive, although the S-Class remains the flagship (top model), SL-Class the most prestigious, but the E-Class is an ideal representation of the philosophy of the car a la Mercedes-Benz; powerful, elegant, executive-sized and great driving.

The target of E-Class is simple, control secondary luxury car segment. Target is predicted easily achieved E-Class redesign which has just debut at 2002 Geneva Auto Show. With a four-year development period, cost $ 2 billion and improvements in all parts, best-selling title is one step back.

To help sales, Mercedes Benz apply the new systems borrowed from models that are more expensive, such as electronic braking systems (brake-by-wire), a cool name Sensotronic Brake Control and Airmatic DC suspension system.
