Grand Livina is the long version of the 7-seater minivan shape, while the Livina is a 5-seater hatchback. Version of the hatchback is available in two variants namely XR and X-Gear. In China the long version called the Livina Geniss.

Information Summary
The Nissan Livina and Grand Livina currently are marketed worldwide in growing markets such as China, Indonesia and South Africa. In order to respond to local market needs, the Livina family will be offered for the first time with a dual-fueled engine. This technology allows the customer to use gasoline, ethanol or any combination of both in the Livina.
Machines used is a 1.5-liter or 1.8 liter. Variant 1.5 liter engine with HR15DE code is 1.8-liter variants using machine-coded MR18DE. The available transmission is a 5-speed manual variant is only available for 1.5 liter, 6 speed manual 1.8-liter variants, and 4 speed automatic is available for both variants.
The Nissan Grand Livina and Nissan Livina will be produced in the Renault-Nissan Alliance Plant in the city of São José dos Pinhais, 15 kilometers south of Curitiba, State of Parana. The plant has production capacity to manufacture 50,000 vehicles a year.
