Information Summary
Renault Clio was introduced to the public at the Paris Motor Show in June 1990 and sold in France and other European mainland. This product is only sold in the UK market in March 1991.
Renault Clio is positioned to replace the Renault 5 (which is still sold until 1996). There are several types of gasoline and diesel engines are launched.
For gasoline engines, available 1.2L and 1.4 L inline 4-cylinder and 1.7L and 1.9L for diesel engine. In 1992, received an additional injection gasoline engine that replaces the carburetor, because of new regulations on exhaust emissions.
