The second generation Lexus RX was launched for European and Asian markets in early 2003 (including Singapore, where it succeeded the previously sold Harrier, South Korea, and Taiwan), it continued to be called the RX 300 and was made in Japan.
Lexus RX Hybrid 400h / Harrier is the world’s first hybrid SUV. Lexus RX400h uses Hybrid Synergy Drive, which combines V6 engine with electric motors. With performance so close to a V8 with increased fuel economy and lower emissions.
RX400h first appeared in the North American International Auto Show 2004 in Detroit. This type came out in Asia and Europe in 2006.
